Our mission: inform and empower young people everywhere.

Clover was inspired by the idea that girls deserve better. As two former magazine editors, we believe the internet doesn’t give young people enough credit. We're changing that with Clover.

It began as an email newsletter that delivers real news daily in a fun, entirely non-boring way. We break down the headlines and brief you on everything you need to know about, all in one quick email. Politics, world issues, and feminist icons are all fair game; clickbait and fake news definitely aren't.

Although Clover Letter still lands in inboxes daily, we’ve since grown beyond a simple newsletter. We’re now a platform and community of young people from all over the world (dozens of countries and counting!). Through online content and IRL events, we’re the ultimate place for girls to connect with each other—and the world around them.

Meet our Founders

Clover Letter was founded by Liza Darwin and Casey Lewis (hi!). We're two former magazine editors who first bonded as interns in college, then became fast friends. Before quitting our jobs in December in 2015 and founding Clover, we've worked at a bunch of awesome places, including NYLON, MTV, Teen Vogue, Refinery29, and Vice.
